Downtown Gift Card On Sale Now!

Redeemable at a Wide Variety of Downtown Businesses

Downtown Omaha is staying true to its roots.  The downtown area has gotten a much needed modernized facelift thanks to the area around TD Ameritrade Park, called North Omaha Downtown or NODO for short.  That does not mean Downtown Omaha has forgotten what has made it such a unique place.

Downtown Omaha has and always will be a destination for Omahans and visitors alike.  Not just because of the historic Old Market, Museums, or other cultural events, rather because of the people.  Downtown Omaha has such a wide variety of unique shops and restaurants that it brings people from all walks of life into one place at one time.  No matter who you are or what your background is there is definitely something for everyone to appreciate in Downtown Omaha.

One of the most popular draws about Downtown Omaha is the unique shopping.  Most of the malls in America house the roughly the same stores and big national if not global companies.  Shopping in Downtown Omaha is a little bit different.  Most of the shops are locally owned and operated and have been for the last several decades.  It would be a safe bet to say that there are not many places in Nebraska or the US that you could buy an old school vinyl record, walk a few feet buy a hand rolled cigar, walk a few more feet and buy designer clothes.  The shops in downtown Omaha truly have something for everyone.

The Downtown area is also littered with amazing restaurants and eateries.  From fine dining, to Mexican, to pasta, to French, anything your heart desires can be found in Downtown Omaha.

Why spend your time walking around a mall that is not unique or even that much different than the other mall just a few miles away.  Why not spend your time walking around an area that is as unique as it is historic.  While you shop or eat downtown you are also helping your local small businesses and make sure that they stay locally owned for many years to come.

What better way to gift the gift of fun, food, and shopping to a friend than through the Downtown Gift Card.  The Downtown Omaha Gift Card is the first of its kind that allows recipients to redeem its value at a wide variety of Downtown Omaha’s restaurants, bars, retail and service outlets, event venues, attractions, museums, art galleries, and hotels.  Currently, the gift card can be redeemed at over 65 businesses with more being added every day.  Click here for the complete list of redeeming merchants or go to www.omahadowntown.org.Order your Downtown Gift Card today and let the fun BEGIN!!

The new gift card are available online at www.omahadowntown.org The cards are available in any denomination between $10 and $500, and operate like most gift card programs.  The Omaha Downtown Improvement District Association (DID) oversees the sale and distribution of the gift cards.

See the "Artists" section of the website for list of the gallery artists. The gallery features a diverse collection of work, including original paintings, photography, collage and folk art, fine woodworking, functional ceramics, sculpture, fused glass and jewelry. MMG Designs
After years of successful jewelry design and repair of vintage pieces, I fell in love with the art of free form wire design and silversmithing. I combine these metal techniques with vintage beads and cabochons, fused glass and natural stones. I work in sterling silver, fine silver, rolled gold, gold and copper. Many of my designs are one of a kind. I welcome custom orders and enjoy working with clients and their ideas.
