Great Friends to Omaha Children's Museum
Rainbow Connectors Guild
The Rainbow Connectors Guild has been a Great Friend to Omaha Children’s Museum for more than 30 years. Founded in 1981, the guild has helped raise more than $4,800,000 to support the museum and its mission of engaging the imagination and creating excitement about learning.
Instrumental in numerous friendraisers and fundraisers, the guild is most notably honored for planning and presenting the For the Kids Benefit, the museum’s annual fundraiser. With more than 2000 volunteer members throughout its existence, the Rainbow Connectors Guild has provided unmatched energy and enthusiasm toward the success of the museum. Guild members throughout the years have remained great friends to one other and to Omaha Children’s Museum.
Great Friend to Kids
Mutual of Omaha
For more than a century, Mutual of Omaha has been a Great Friend to Kids through its enduring support of efforts that impact families. As one of Omaha’s Fortune 500 companies, the insurance and financial services company is a shining example of corporate citizenship.
Through corporate and foundation funding, Mutual of Omaha’s support through the years has helped facilitate the Omaha Children’s Museum’s growth and allowed many families to experience the joy the museum offers. In 2009, The company’s Wild About Omaha celebration provided free admission for more than 5,000 individuals. And, in 2010, Mutual of Omaha served as Royal Sponsor of the museum’s For the Kids Benefit. Mutual of Omaha Chairman and CEO Dan Neary -- along with his wife, Shirley – served as honorary chairs, helping to raise more than $275,000.
