Beat Big Banks with the Pinpoint Card
.
Businesses both small and large have little or no choice in this day and age when it comes to accepting debit or credit cards. Some of those businesses have began to cringe every time they see a certain card pulled out for payment. Why you ask? It is because of the outrageous fees that are associated with the cards.
As a consumer you don’t see those fees on your credit or debit card, or at least not yet, but business owners see and have to deal with those fees daily or monthly. Simply the business has to pay a flat fee to rent or use a credit/debit card processor and couple that with a per swipe fee depending on the type of card. AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover all have different swipe fee rates. To make it really easy to understand that basically for every $100 swiped on a card the business only gets to keep $98 of it. That may still seem like a lot of revenue to some people but keep in mind there is a ton of overhead that goes into running a business, especially in small businesses every penny counts.
See for yourself how bad it actually can get, some banks are already charging debit card holder $3 a month to have a card. Whereas in the past banks didn’t have to do that because they were taking the money from the merchant. With recent government legistlature the amount that banks and debit card companies were allowed to charge upwards towards $0.48 per transaction on a debit card. Now they can only charge about $0.22 per transaction. The fee being cut in half definitely helps the business taking the card but the money hungry banks are now trying to figure out a way to get that lost revenue back. The banks are going to get it back from you for charging you to have a debit card!!
Don’t believe what we have to say see what else is out there in regards to this situation.

The Pinpoint Card is not just about offering discounts at restaurants but on other purchases as well. The Pinpoint Card recently added VIP Carwash as a merchant. Although VIP Carwash is not 100% live yet they are still offering a discount at the gas pump. I do drive a little bit of a gas guzzler, so with gas prices they way they are I try to find the best gas prices around even if that means driving a little bit out of the way. Since I have been taking advantage of the $.05 off per gallon of gas at VIP Carwash I have saved quite a bit of coin, not to mention the fact that it doesn’t make me cry as bad as filling up at other gas stations.
